Cotton towels fill up fast on a wet dog. This towel is made of PVA, the same absorbent material used for synthetic chamois cloths: it soaks up water quickly, and when it is full you simply wring it out and keep going.

Use it after a bath or a rainy walk, on dogs and cats alike. It is thin and light, so it is easy to keep by the door or in the car. When it dries out completely it goes stiff: a few seconds in water make it soft again.

How it helps

  1. The problem

A wet dog can soak through two or three cotton towels, which then stay damp in the laundry basket for hours.

  2. The fix

Pat and wipe the coat with the PVA towel. When it is full, wring it out over the sink or bath and carry on with the same towel.

  3. The result

A drier pet after the bath or a rainy walk, fewer wet towels to wash, and a towel that is ready to use again straight away.

Questions, answered

Can I choose the colour?
No, the colour is assorted and chosen at random from blue, green, yellow, pink and purple.
Why has the towel gone stiff?
PVA hardens when it dries out completely. Wet it for a few seconds and it becomes soft again.
Which size should I choose?
S (43 x 32 cm) suits cats, small dogs and drying paws; L (66 x 43 cm) is better for medium and large dogs.
